Working alongside multidisciplinary teams in a progressive environment, you'll support the NICU in advanced respiratory care. This setting provides exposure to a range of workplace practices and leadership approaches, sharpening your skills in a dynamic, collaborative setting. Enrich your resume as you cover C-sections, monitor critical patients, and deliver high-level care, all while enjoying the chance to explore new places during your downtime.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Weekend shifts as needed
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist with valid NC license Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
Certifications:
NRP (AHA), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) Proficiency in covering C-sections and NICU cases Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Credentialing documentation due one week before start
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver advanced respiratory therapy to neonatal and pediatric populations Actively participate in interdisciplinary rounds and rapid response situations Provide airway management, ventilator monitoring, and support in high-acuity scenarios Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with institutional protocols Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered care environment
