Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (state-specific license required) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Proven experience delivering respiratory therapy in an acute care or hospital setting Familiarity with mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol medication administration, and arterial blood gas analysis Ability to work effectively with patients of varying ages and conditions Strong communication skills and attention to detail Commitment to patient safety and quality standards
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care, including therapeutic and diagnostic procedures Administer and monitor mechanical ventilation and other advanced respiratory support systems Perform and interpret arterial blood gas tests, adjusting treatment plans as necessary Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health staff Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and equipment use Document all care and interventions thoroughly and in compliance with clinical protocols Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting and bring dedication, clinical expertise, and compassion to every patient interaction.
