This position is ideal for an individual looking to develop specialized skills in a professional, outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities Pulmonary Function Testing:

Perform and master PFTs, including Spirometry (pre and post), Diffusion Studies, and Lung Volumes (including Plethysmography and Nitrogen Washout).

Equipment Care:

Calibrate and maintain all pulmonary function machinery.

Patient Care:

Conduct 6-minute walk tests, provide comprehensive inhaler instruction, and communicate effectively with patients.

Collaboration:

Work well with our clinical team while maintaining the ability to perform tasks independently.

Qualifications Education:

Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Licensure:

Active NC Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT).

Skills:

Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.
