1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with SERVO-U ventilator experience for a night shift position at a hospital-based respiratory care unit in Raleigh, NC. Details Hospital-based respiratory care unit Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts 36 hours per week, 3 days per week Weekend work required, potentially every weekend or every other weekend Holiday coverage required based on staffing needs No on-call required SERVO-U ventilator experience required Epic EMR experience preferred NICU experience preferred Requirements Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current RRT certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist At least one of the following certifications required based on practice area: ACLS, NRP, PALS, orCPFT SERVO-U
ventilator experience required License required if applicable Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Provides airway management including tracheostomy care, tracheostomy tube changes, endotracheal intubations and extubations Manages mechanical ventilators using specialized ventilator modes, patient monitoring, and weaning techniques Administers aerosol medication delivery, oxygen therapy, breathing exercises, arterial punctures, and bedside pulmonary function testing May perform advanced procedures includingUAC, UVC, IV
