Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality respiratory care and help patients breathe easier in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist eager to contribute expertise in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Active Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist license Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, or NRP a plus) Previous experience with adult and pediatric patient populations preferred Expertise with ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway care Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity situations Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders Utilize advanced respiratory therapy techniques and equipment Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed Administer medications and therapies as prescribed Provide patient and family education on respiratory conditions and treatment Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals for coordinated care Document assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately Respond to emergency situations, including rapid response codes, as required This contract role offers the opportunity to make a difference for diverse patients while working in a supportive environment with advanced medical technology.
