This travel opportunity is a springboard for advancing your respiratory therapy career at a nationally recognized academic medical center, offering exposure to specialized patient care, seasoned leadership, and diverse clinical environments. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you'll work within a large, Level 1 Trauma Center, known for delivering high-acuity care and fostering professional development. Your assignments will span NICU, Pediatric, and Adult areas, tailored to your expertise and supporting growth under the mentorship of acclaimed lead therapists. Expand your resume with experience in innovative workplace practices and advanced technology, including EPIC EMR and specialized respiratory equipment.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Rotating weekends (every other weekend required) No on-call obligations 75% holiday coverage expected Schedule cycle every 6 weeksQualifications:
Minimum 2 years' Respiratory Therapy critical care experience NC Respiratory Care License RRT credentialBLS, ACLS
(Adults)BLS, PALS, NRP
(NICU/Peds) CRTs accepted (RRT preferred) Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma center or high-acuity facility preferred First-time travelers consideredResponsibilities:
Deliver advanced respiratory care to a wide range of diagnoses (post-surgical, pneumonia, COPD, asthma, ED cases) Collaborate with a dynamic team in high-acuity settings Utilize advanced technologies such as Servo U/Air, The Vest, Volara, HFJV/Oscillator, and heated high flow devices Participate in continuous learning and skill development oriented by departmental leadersBenefits & Travel Perks:
