Job Description

Respiratory Therapist / Registered Nurse Respiratory Clinician Make patient advocacy and excellence in patient care your goal by joining Frontier! We are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable team member to join our Respiratory Therapy team in our Grand Island Branch. We have availability for full-time or part-time. You should have:
AS or BS Degree in Respiratory Care ; Or, AS or BS Degree in Registered Nursing. Respiratory Therapy job experience is a plus. Passion for customer service and patient care. Ability to maintain confidentiality and patient respect. Knowledge of insurance coverage criteria. Knowledge of respiratory equipment. Problem-solving skills. Computer and equipment literacy. Motivational and outgoing attitude.
Respiratory Therapist Duties:
Assess care based on given prescription and patient information. Set up and operate respiratory devices; monitor patient physiological responses and compliance. Participates in process improvement initiatives and resolves patient issues. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions, and communication style. Consult with physicians, collect any required documentation and maintain patient charts. Inspect and test respiratory therapy equipment; order repairs as needed. Demonstrate respiratory care procedures to trainees and other health care personnel and provide added training support to staff. Advise customers on the sale/rental of equipment and quote prices/payment terms. Why Choose Frontier?
