Job Description

You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients. Medix is seeking dedicated Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) for an exciting contract assignment at a partner Skilled Nursing Facility in Illinois.

Schedule:
Full-time, three 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM available), rotating every other weekend and holidays

Pay:
$1950 Weekly Gross with travel stipend for eligible talent Responsibilities Manage a vent-heavy adult population (aged 18+), including routine vent checks, maintaining trach patients, and frequent suctioning. Utilize and manage specialized respiratory equipment, including Voxin ventilators (all-in-one vent, oxygen, cough assist, suction, and neb units), standalone nebulizers, e-cylinder tanks, oxygen regulators, and trach aerosol generators. Administer chest vest therapy and utilize Acapellas as prescribed. Collaborate with nursing staff, who manage CPAP/BiPAP therapies, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the Matrix EMR system.
