Position:

Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Shift:

Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend.

Location :

- Concord, NH Overview Provides respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions in a hospital setting. Responsible for administering oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments, managing ventilators, performing diagnostic tests, and responding to emergency situations. Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to support patient care and ensure optimal respiratory function. Responsibilities Provide respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and prescribed respiratory medications. Manage ventilators and assist patients requiring mechanical ventilation or life support. Perform respiratory assessments, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition. Conduct diagnostic procedures such as ABGs and pulmonary function testing. Respond to emergency situations including codes and rapid response events. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support patient treatment plans. Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner preferred).

Requirements Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience in an acute care setting. Active New Hampshire Respiratory Therapy license. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. First-time travelers accepted. Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required. #perdiem

Pay:

$52.00 - $54.28 per hour
