Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a healthcare setting Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred Strong communication and patient-care skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments and procedures Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and document outcomes Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical staff on individualized patient care plans Operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment safely and efficiently Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory therapies
