Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active state license (or eligibility for reciprocity in NY) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in an acute care or hospital setting Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages according to physician orders and clinical protocols Operate and monitor respiratory equipment (ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, etc.) Assess patient respiratory status and document care provided Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care and home treatments
