MSK:
Join our Respiratory Therapy team! We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Respiratory Therapist who will provide our patients with top level care. You will also consult with other health care practitioners in the management or prevention of cardiopulmonary disorders.
Role Overview:
Render respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. Consult with and aid other health care practitioners in management or prevention of cardiopulmonary disorders, with minimal direction. Assess patient's condition and follow up to ensure appropriateness of therapy. Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory treatment/therapy. Assist in providing education to other departments regarding respiratory therapies and modalities.
Key Qualifications:
An Associate's Degree in Applied Science and Respiratory Therapy. A current NY State Respiratory Therapist License. Current NBRC Credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. BLS required, ACLS preferred. Pediatric/PICU experience preferred.

Highly motivated and able to empower and work well with others; able to adapt in a constantly evolving environment. Able to problem solve operational, personnel, and patient issues. Someone who has excellent communication skills, follow through and who supports the open expression of diverse ideas and opinions. Team focused and collaborative with other departments in the coordination of patient care.

Main Hospital, 1275 York Avenue, in NYC.
Schedule:
Night Shift (7:00pm-7:30am), nights vary, includes weekends and rotating holidays. Reporting to the
