Day Shift Description:
Northeast Home Medical Equipment is seeking an experienced and motivated Program Supervisor - Respiratory Services to lead our respiratory care program and support patients receiving home respiratory therapy services. This leadership role combines clinical expertise, staff supervision, patient education, program oversight, and operational support to ensure exceptional care and service throughout our respiratory program. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate healthcare professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills who is committed to improving the quality of life for patients receiving respiratory services in the home setting.
Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Patient Care Staff Supervision & Development Program & Operational Management Documentation & Compliance Equipment Management Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential. Current New York State Respiratory Therapist license. Minimum of 3 years of respiratory care experience, preferably in home care, durable medical equipment, or healthcare services. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum A.A.S in NYS approved Respiratory Therapy program, BS preferred. At least two years critical care experience with some experience as a lead or charge therapist. OR Certificate/ C.R.T.T. and a minimum of 5 years critical care experience. Current NYS license as a therapist or technician. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment, oxygen therapy, and patient education. Proficiency with electronic medical records; Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
Pay Range:
$45.62- $59.42 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
