Operates and cleans Hyperbaric Chamber and documents equipment maintenance. Job Responsibility + Prepares patients for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) treatments and documents treatments in patient care record. + Operates the hyperbaric chamber according to manufacturer guidelines and established regulations. + Takes and records vital signs and/or growth measurements; draws blood; administers EKGs and assists clinical staff with examination and treatment as needed. + Cleans HBO chambers and maintains the orderliness and cleanliness of treatment rooms. + Performs Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitoring; monitors vital signs and patient response during HBO treatments. + Participates in patient education as it relates to hyperbaric therapy. + Participates in quality assurance programs and supports clinical hyperbaric facility accreditation. + Maintains daily and periodic equipment maintenance documentation. + Transports patients to and from the department. + Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Current Basic Life Support Professional Certification required. + 1-3 years of technical experience, required. + Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS) or Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) preferred. + Previous EMT experience preferred. + CHT required within 12 months of employment. •Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
