What they do
A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

$2155.00 - $2221.00 RRT/ CRT needed asap Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care NY State license CRT Certified by National Board for Respiratory Care RRT Registered by National Board for Respiratory Care BLS certification required ACLS, NRP and PALS preferred Knowledge of acid/base/electrolyte relationships and implications of life threatening situations. Establishes patient ventilator settings using metric measurements/advanced principles of volume, flow, pressure, time relationships.Required Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist, Adult Experience:
