Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist, with active registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current state respiratory care practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain) BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to acquire prior to start) Experience with a variety of respiratory modalities including ventilator management, airway clearance techniques, and patient assessment processes Strong communication and patient education skills Flexibility and adaptability to new environments

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory therapy treatments to patients with chronic, acute, and emergent conditions Assess patient needs, monitor responses, and adjust care plans accordingly Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress Provide education to patients and their families about respiratory management
