Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various settings, ensuring optimal respiratory function and improving overall patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in respiratory therapy practices, demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, and exhibit a compassionate approach to patient care. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient recovery and well-being through expert respiratory management. Bowling Green, OH Start date: 9/7 13 week 36 hrs-3 x12 week rotating weekends (Fri-Sun) and holidays. Mainly adults as they don't have pediatric unit but may be asked to attend high risk deliveries and c-sections to keep babies supported until they are transferred.

Pay:

2200/weekly gross, $20.94/hr, $31.42/OT, $1246 stipend #

Allied Pay:

$2,200.00 per week
