Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract An opportunity awaits for a seasoned Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide compassionate care and expert respiratory therapy in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role spans 13 weeks, offering a chance to work alongside dedicated professionals and truly make a meaningful impact.
Schedule:
3 shifts per week 12-hour nights (7:00pm - 7:30am)
Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current Ohio state license in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required At least 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting Proven ability to work independently as well as collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy treatments to diverse patient populations Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient respiratory status and make recommendations for modifications in treatment Operate and maintain ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and other therapeutic devices Respond quickly to urgent and emergency situations Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and care plans Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes
