Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with flexible scheduling Your expertise as a Registered Respiratory Therapist will be pivotal in delivering intensive respiratory care and assisting with patient transport. You'll also play a key role in evaluating patients, recommending treatment plans, and educating patients and families throughout the care process.Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist credential Valid Ohio licensure (or eligibility) Current BLS and ACLS certification Prior experience in respiratory therapy—critical care/recovery experience preferred Strong communication and patient education skillsResponsibilities:
Conduct and document physician-prescribed respiratory treatments Operate and maintain ventilatory and oxygenation equipment (invasive and non-invasive) Perform therapies: chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, EKGs, pulmonary function studies, bronchoscopies Provide tracheostomy care, arterial punctures, and endotracheal tube management Assist with patient transport, preventative equipment maintenance, and respiratory therapy charging/documentation Collaborate with physicians and provide effective shift-to-shift handoff communicationBenefits and Travel Perks:
