Qualifications:
Valid Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials Current state licensure as required Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS preferred) Prior acute care or hospital experience is highly desirable Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced setting

Contract position
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and respiratory care planning for patients of all ages Administer respiratory therapy treatments and life support to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to formulate and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and self-management Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines Accurately document all aspects of patient care and therapy provided
