Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Advance patient care and contribute your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and offers the chance to collaborate with a skilled team dedicated to positive outcomes in respiratory therapy.
Schedule:
3x12 hour shifts per week
Nights:
7:00pm - 7:30am
Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Valid OH state licensure for Respiratory Therapy Current BLS certification Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory care experience in an acute or hospital setting Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic conditions Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions including ventilator management, aerosol therapies, airway management, and patient education Consult with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize individual patient respiratory plans Monitor and document patient responses, adjusting therapy as needed to achieve optimal outcomes Maintain compliance with department protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices What to
