Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-focused environment. This position is ideal for those who thrive in a small hospital setting and are passionate about providing excellent respiratory care to diverse patient populations.
Schedule:
Day shifts: 9 AM - 9 PM 3 shifts per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday—no weekends!) 8-week contract, with the possibility of extension
Qualifications:
Credentialed as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Experience in Emergency Department and/or Medical/Surgical units required; LTAC RTs also welcome Confident in providing ventilator management Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small, 25-bed facility without an ICU Current licensure as required by state regulations, plus
BLS/ACLS
certifications
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional care to patients requiring respiratory support in both ED and Med/Surg areas Perform ventilator management, airway care, and related respiratory therapy procedures Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to create effective patient care plans Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and therapies Document all interventions accurately and in a timely manner
