As a Senior Respiratory Therapist, you'll perform all core RRT responsibilities plus a wide range of specialized cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures, ensuring safe, accurate testing and high‑quality patient care. https://www.stmarysregional.com What You'll Do As a Senior Respiratory Therapist, you'll support both direct patient care and specialized diagnostic testing. You'll ensure accurate procedures, monitor patient safety, and help maintain seamless departmental operations.
Responsibilities include:
Completing diagnostic procedures — Stress Tests, Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), EEGs, EKGs, Holter Monitoring, Pentamidine treatments, and more Ensuring proper electrode placement and accurate performance of EEG, EKG, Stress Testing, and Holter studies Assessing and monitoring patient condition and recognizing potentially critical situations during testing Performing full PFT testing including Pre/Post bronchodilator, DLCO, Plethysmography, and Slow Vital Capacity Conducting advanced testing such as Histamine/Methacholine Challenge and Nitrogen Washout Setting up and downloading Holter monitors Delivering safe, accurate respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary difficulties Supporting smooth departmental operations and participating in rotating call for the testing department What We Offer St. Mary's provides a supportive environment where respiratory professionals can grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact.
