As a Senior Respiratory Therapist, you'll perform all core RRT responsibilities plus a wide range of specialized cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures, ensuring safe, accurate testing and high‑quality patient care. What You'll Do
As a Senior Respiratory Therapist, you'll support both direct patient care and specialized diagnostic testing. You'll ensure accurate procedures, monitor patient safety, and help maintain seamless departmental operations.
Responsibilities include:
Completing diagnostic procedures — Stress Tests, Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), EEGs, EKGs, Holter Monitoring, Pentamidine treatments, and more
Ensuring proper electrode placement and accurate performance of EEG, EKG, Stress Testing, and Holter studies
Assessing and monitoring patient condition and recognizing potentially critical situations during testing
Performing full PFT testing including Pre/Post bronchodilator, DLCO, Plethysmography, and Slow Vital Capacity
Conducting advanced testing such as Histamine/Methacholine Challenge and Nitrogen Washout
Setting up and downloading Holter monitors
Delivering safe, accurate respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary difficulties
Supporting smooth departmental operations and participating in rotating call for the testing department

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Licensure / Certification / Training
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Associate degree minimum)
Current Oklahoma RCP license or Provisional Letter (valid until Board meeting date listed)
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required and maintained
BLS required until ACLS obtained
ACLS and PALS required within six (6) months of hire; annual recertification required
SECURE training required within six (6) months of hire
NRP preferred
Experience & Skills
1-3 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Typing and basic computer skills required
