Citizen Experience:

Must have both pediatric and adult care experience Job Summary Assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care services according to hospital standards and department policies. Monitor patient respiratory status and deliver appropriate respiratory therapy treatments. Administer respiratory therapies including nebulizers, inhalers, oxygen therapy, and chest physiotherapy. Manage mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive) and monitor patient response to ventilator settings. Assist with procedures such as intubation, extubation, bronchoscopy, and suctioning. Maintain accurate patient documentation and verify physician orders in the medical record system. Respond to emergency situations including code blue and rapid response calls. Collaborate with healthcare teams and support patient care in both critical and non-critical care areas. Skills and Abilities Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and patient care techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze clinical data and maintain accurate documentation. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. Education and Certifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program. Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License or temporary authorization. Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 2 months of hire. Experience 0-6 months of related experience. Pediatric and adult respiratory care experience required.
