Job Description

Respiratory Therapist, CRT or RRT Our Cardiopulmonary Department is looking for empathetic and encouraging respiratory therapist to join our team on a part-time basis! Details:
Part-time, 24 hrs per week 12 hour shifts - 5:45a-6:15p One weekend per month CRT or
RRT JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness and perform blood gas analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program; certified or registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma. Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment. Current ACLS and NRP Certification within 1 year of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations. Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write. Color vision is required. Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with other in person and over the phone. Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care. Able to frequently lift at least 60 pounds, reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel. Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e., draw arterial blood gases, assemble, and disassemble equipment). Able to work in latex burdened environment.
