Job Overview To provide family-centered, age appropriate clinical cardio pulmonary care. Utilize assessment findings in a timely manner to establish patient and family needs in collaboration with the health care team. Communicate findings in both verbal and written format. Seek personal/ professional development, assure safe operation of the life support equipment and perform other duties as required. Take a leadership role as assigned, act as a clinical resource to other departments. May precept staff after displaying proficiency. Participate in hospital / departmental committees, special projects and research. We are looking for a Part-Time Respiratory Therapist to join our Portland team.

Part-time Nights FTE:

0.3 (One 12-Hour Shift/Week on Saturday) •The pay range for this position is $36.82-$55.22/hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. • Responsibilities Provided primary respiratory care to patients from admission through discharge, and charts appropriately. Serves as a resource and provides education to students, interns, residents, nurses, and new employees as needed. Assures safe, cost-effective operation and function of pertinent equipment and utilizes appropriate infection control techniques in all areas. Seeks personal, professional development and accountability. Demonstrates the ability to professionally interact and communicate appropriately with staff, patients, families, and visitors. Understands overall hospital/departmental philosophy, policies and procedures and applies it to daily patient staff/interaction.
