Contract Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) - CPAP & BiPAP Education $100 Per Patient Visit + Mileage | 1099 Contract | Flexible Schedule | Field-Based We are a growing DME company looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) to provide in-home CPAP and BiPAP education, equipment support, and mask fitting for our patients. Our primary service area includes Chester County, Montgomery County, and Delaware County, Pennsylvania , with opportunities for visits in New Jersey and Delaware as our patient base grows. This is an excellent opportunity for an RT who enjoys patient education, wants a flexible schedule, and is comfortable traveling to patients' homes. Compensation & Schedule $100 per completed patient visit Mileage reimbursement provided 1099 independent contractor position Flexible scheduling based on your availability and patient needs Ongoing opportunities as our patient volume grows Responsibilities Travel to patient homes throughout the service area Provide CPAP and BiPAP setup and patient education Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use Perform mask fitting and adjustments Assess mask comfort and address basic leak issues Explain machine operation, humidification, tubing, filters, and cleaning Provide basic troubleshooting and therapy support Reinforce proper therapy use and adherence Answer patient questions and address concerns Complete accurate documentation following each visit Communicate patient needs and concerns to our DME team Provide virtual education or follow-up when appropriate Qualifications Current RT/RRT credential Current state license(s) required for the areas in which services are provided Hands-on experience with CPAP and BiPAP Experience with mask fitting and patient education DME, home respiratory care, sleep medicine, or pulmonary experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently in patients' homes Reliable transportation Valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area The Ideal Candidate We're looking for an RT who enjoys working directly with patients and understands that successful CPAP/BiPAP therapy involves more than simply delivering equipment.
