Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred Experience with respiratory assessments, interventions, and ventilator management Strong critical thinking and communication skills Previous acute care or hospital-based experience is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including administration of oxygen and aerosolized medications Set up, monitor, and adjust ventilators and other respiratory equipment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and disease management Document assessments and interventions according to hospital policy
