Schedule:
3 x 12-hour day shifts per week
Qualifications:
Active credentials as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current BLS certification At least one year of experience performing Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) Capability to independently perform bronchoscopies and pulmonary function testing CPFT or RPFT certification preferred Experience in adult intensive care units (ICU) and emergency departments (ED) in a Level 1 trauma facility is required Pediatric experience is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and interpret pulmonary function tests to support clinical diagnosis Assist and perform bronchoscopies with skill and precision Deliver therapeutic interventions and respiratory support to critically ill adults in ICU and ED settings Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to provide holistic patient care Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with facility protocols Demonstrate quick decision-making and adaptability to evolving clinical situations In this 13-week contract opportunity, you'll make a direct impact by providing expert respiratory care and contributing to critical patient outcomes.
