Job Description

Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Advance your career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic hospital environment, providing essential care to patients across multiple departments—including critical care and labor & delivery. In this contract role, you'll collaborate with a skilled team and leverage your advanced respiratory therapy expertise for optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shifts, 3x12 hours (6:45p - 7:15a) Every other weekend required Holiday rotation required No on-call requirements Floating to all areas of the hospital as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a critical care setting Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license in hand before start date All of the following certifications required and current at time of start:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, NBRC
(RRT). No CRT accepted Previous travelers and first-time travel clinicians are not eligible Must be able to float within Respiratory Care scope to all hospital departments Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs Proficiency using Epic charting system
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including critical and neonatal patients Respond to emergencies and provide expert interventions following policies and standards Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes Adapt quickly to changing patient care needs in a busy hospital environment Comply with all facility protocols, including hurricane response procedures (June-November)
