2 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with critical care experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a 396-bed hospital in Florence, SC.Details Night shift schedule:
3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Every other weekend required Holiday rotation required Floating required within scope to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery No floating to sister facilities Charting via Epic 396-bed hospital setting Free parking on-site Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required; recent critical care experience is required RRT credential required; CRTs will not be considered Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required at time of start Certifications required at time of start:BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS
(all AHA), and NBRC (RRT) Social Security Number (SSN) and Driver's License required for consideration 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration First-time travelers will not be considered Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible SC RCP license required if applicable Additional Information Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak hurricane activity occurs in August and September Caribbean blue scrubs requiredSimilar jobs in Florence, SC
