A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description

I'm hiring for a Respiratory Therapist in South Carolina! There is potential for 10k sign-on bonus and/or 7.5k relocation assistance. The Respiratory Therapist maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values; performs direct patient care and the provision of Respiratory Care and Hyperbaric Medicine (for those special trained) procedures in all areas within the facility; performs all procedures according to policy & procedure. Organizes workload to ensure therapy is completed as proscribed; and more!

Requirements:

College degree; CRT/RRT cert; prior experience

Pay:

Starting pay is $26.52 or $28.20/hr
