Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid state license (or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee) BLS and ACLS certifications preferred Previous acute care or hospital experience strongly desired Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver respiratory therapies and interventions according to physician orders and facility protocols Assess patients' cardiopulmonary health status and document treatment responses Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, and other specialized equipment Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Provide education to patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatments Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
