A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Avir at Angle in Fort Worth, TX . Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care to patients with a wide range of respiratory diseases and disorders, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia. Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry, and interpret results to diagnose and manage respiratory conditions. Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Perform various respiratory procedures, such as bronchodilator treatments, chestPhysiotherapy, and oxygen therapy. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, as needed. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field. Current certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and state licensure. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
