Key Qualifications:
Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Proven clinical skills in acute care, critical care, and emergency settings BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Effective communication and patient education abilities Enthusiastic about adapting to new teams and rapidly changing priorities
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, therapeutic interventions, and patient education Operate and monitor ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and related equipment Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient treatment plans Document all care provided according to policy and regulatory requirements Maintain equipment, ensuring safety and proper operation
