A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Opportunities to work with one of Utah's premier LTAC facilities. Responsibilities Provide respiratory care to patients requiring acute and long-term respiratory support. Manage oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator support. Monitor patient respiratory status and communicate changes to the healthcare team. Maintain accurate patient documentation. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while following facility policies and best practices. Qualifications Current Utah Respiratory Care Practitioner License (or eligibility to practice in Utah). Current RRT or CRT credential. Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred). Previous LTAC, critical care, ICU, or ventilator management experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills. Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
