We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide patient-focused respiratory therapy services in a contract capacity. This role offers a full-time schedule with competitive weekly earnings ranging from $2100 - $2350, reflecting 40 hours per week, and may include additional benefits for eligible candidates.
Desired Qualifications:
Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to assignment) Proven experience delivering both routine and advanced respiratory care in acute and/or critical care settings Strong understanding of cardiopulmonary diagnostics and therapeutic modalities Excellent communication skills to coordinate care effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred) Proficiency with ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and pulmonary function testing equipment
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy to patients of all ages, including assessments, aerosol therapies, ventilator management, and airway care Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests accurately Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient response, adjusting care as necessary Document all assessments, treatments, and interventions in compliance with facility protocols Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the highest level of patient care Benefits for
