Job Description

Maintain cleanliness and organization of supplies in the main and satellite respiratory supply rooms/areas Monitor and assist with data collection for departmental inventory Restocks respiratory supplies throughout the hospital Clean equipment following hospital policy Assist with preparing and setting up assigned equipment Assist with monitoring and exchanging empty oxygen tanks Audit inpatient areas for emergency equipment Assist the licensed Respiratory Therapist with trach dressing or tie changes Perform chest compressions during cardiopulmonary resuscitation Assist with patient transport Assist with patient repositioning using proper body mechanics to prevent injury. Assist with chart audits and other administrative work under the supervision of the Respiratory Leadership Reports to:
Operations Manager, Respiratory Therapy Minimum Required Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent Current Student enrolled in the final 3 semesters of an accredited Respiratory Care program. Must remain in good standing in the program until graduation.
Required certification:
