What they do
A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description
Shift:
7:00 AM - 7:00PM Experience:
- 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
- Experience with Oasis is required.
- Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.
- Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Local & travel allowed.
- 6 months gap required between for Staff at

Vent experience required.Required Credentials:
Riverside Regional Medical Center does not accept license hits.Special Requests:
You are not allowed to work for both Riverside Travel assignments and Riverside Per Diem contracts simultaneously. You must choose one or the other.Unit Details:
Neonatal, adult, and geriatric patient population. Uses Bipap-V60, High-Flow, Veletri, Volara, and Synclara. Level II trauma center with 3 ICUs. Runs with 7-10 RTs depending on census.Shift & Scheduling:
Every third weekend.Floating Requirements:
Will cover ICU, ED, MS, and NICU if experienced. 7 days maximum time off 1 Charge/Lead reference required Proof of identification requiredCertifications:
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program - 8th Edition)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
