Essential Qualifications:
Valid credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure BLS and ACLS certifications Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Minimum of one year of recent respiratory care experience in a hospital setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assessments, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing evaluation of respiratory patients Operate and manage ventilators, nebulizers, and other respiratory therapy equipment Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated care Monitor patient progress and document responses to therapy Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely records
