Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract opportunity 40 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist; registered status required Valid state licensure as mandated Demonstrated proficiency in providing respiratory therapy interventions to patients of diverse ages and needs Solid knowledge of ventilator management, airway care, and pulmonary function testing Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams Compassionate bedside manner, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Recent relevant clinical experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and chest physiotherapy Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as necessary in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff Maintain and calibrate respiratory therapy equipment; document all procedures with accuracy Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and home care needs Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
