Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide essential care near Virginia Beach. This full-time contract position offers an immediate start, making it a great fit for professionals seeking a rewarding assignment just steps away from beautiful coastal scenery and a short drive from DC and Baltimore.
Schedule:
Weekdays, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM 13-week contract
Qualifications:
Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist At least 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience, preferably with generalist background Current BLS certification required ACLS and NRP certifications preferred GE equipment experience highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Perform respiratory assessments, therapy interventions, and patient monitoring Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff to develop patient care plans Assist with emergency respiratory procedures and ventilator management Educate patients and families about respiratory care, equipment, and therapies Maintain accurate patient records and comply with facility protocols Enjoy the unique advantages of working near the Atlantic coast in a role that blends professional growth with the appeal of a scenic environment.
