A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist Burlington, VT 16 weeks Shift

7pm•7am Asap start needed•Rates are tiered based on mileage•measured by direct line not driving distance.

Travel (101 miles ), Radius (51-100 miles), Local (50 miles or less)

RRT Inpatient:

Adult & Pediatric general units, Adult ICU,NICU, and PICU required. Weekends as needed, no call, schedule flexibility is a must.

Requirements:

AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS

Must be RRT, will not accept CRT A minimum of 1 year of experience Prior travel is preferred Teaching hospital experience required All specialties the HCP worked need to be well documented on each individual employment entry Epic experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable

Additional Information:

IVS to OFFER Monday to Sunday No block schedules for any reason Bi-weekly orientations on Monday Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit
