hospital-based travel assignment This is a travel assignment for a Respiratory Therapist in an inpatient, hospital-based setting. The role requires mobilizing quickly for a short-term assignment with flexible weekend coverage and no on-call requirement.Key Highlights Weekly pay:

inpatient hospital-based respiratory care Epic experience required (within past 2 years) RRT required; CRT not accepted Teaching hospital experience preferred Responsibilities Provide comprehensive respiratory care for adult ICU and ED patients, including ventilator management, airway care, bronchodilators, suctioning, and therapy modalities per physician orders. Monitor patient status, interpret ABG results, adjust therapies, and document interventions in the EMR system (Epic) in a timely, accurate manner. Support NICU level III patients; PICU experience is preferred; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in rounds, communicate changes to the care team, and educate patients and families on respiratory therapies as appropriate. Maintain equipment readiness, ensure infection control practices, and perform routine checks on respiratory support devices. Weekend coverage as needed; no on-call requirement; maintain schedule flexibility to meet unit needs. Requirements Active Respiratory Therapist license on file; must be RRT (no CRT accepted)Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC
