Up to $2,200/week
Contract:
13 weeks
Schedule:
36 hours/week | 3×12-hour shifts
Shift:
Nights | 6:00 PM - 6:30
AM Weekend:
Every other weekend

Rotating holiday schedule We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Janesville, WI. The RRT will provide respiratory care services to adult and pediatric patients and support critical and emergency care needs. Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapies, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments. Initiate, monitor, evaluate, and wean invasive and non-invasive ventilation. Set up, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators and NIV equipment. Assess patients before and after respiratory treatments and recommend appropriate therapy. Respond to emergency situations and assist with resuscitation, airway management, and ventilator support. Transport critically ill and mechanically ventilated patients within the hospital. Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapies, medications, and equipment. Maintain respiratory equipment and departmental supplies. Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and responses. Follow infection control, safety, and universal precaution standards. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program Active Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner License RRT credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) AHA BLS certification NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Respiratory therapy experience in a hospital/acute-care setting preferred Position Details 13-week contract 36 hours per week 3×12-hour night shifts 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Every other weekend Rotating holidays
