Schedule & Hours:

3 x 12-hour shifts: Days (0630-1900) & Nights (1830-0700) Every third weekend required Every other holiday required No mandatory call, with occasional off-shift call (volunteer-based)

Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required Valid Wisconsin RT license (can take 6-8 weeks to obtain) Minimum 2 years of RT experience, including trauma level 2 or 3 Critical care experience essential Open to first-time travelers and travel duos Strong critical thinking and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive respiratory care in inpatient and ED settings (adult and pediatric) Perform arterial and capillary blood gases in intensive care units Assist with intubations and place laryngeal airways during code blue Cover for EKG department overnight as needed Utilize a variety of respiratory equipment (Servo U/I, PB840, Hamilton T1, Bipap/CPAP, Vapotherm, etc.)
