Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional respiratory care to patients across diverse clinical settings. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes by providing specialized respiratory therapies, managing medical equipment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to patient-centered care, ensuring comfort and safety for individuals with respiratory conditions. Responsibilities Assess patients' respiratory status through detailed evaluations and physiological measurements, developing personalized treatment plans. Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, aerosol treatments, and airway clearance techniques. Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment including ventilators, nebulizers, and pulse oximeters with precision and confidence. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies. Monitor patient responses to treatments continuously, adjusting interventions as needed to optimize outcomes. Document all procedures, patient responses, and treatment plans accurately in medical records while adhering to confidentiality standards. Educate patients and their families about respiratory health management, including medication use and lifestyle modifications. Qualifications Proven experience practicing as a Respiratory Therapist in inpatient hospital medicine or outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to respiratory health. Hands-on experience operating complex medical equipment such as ventilators and oxygen delivery systems. Familiarity with orthopedics and orthotics interventions in occupational therapy is a plus for comprehensive patient care. Background in post-acute care settings including sub-acute care or geriatrics enhances adaptability across diverse patient populations. Experience with dance therapy or other rehabilitative therapies can be beneficial for holistic treatment approaches. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and teamwork.
