School Speech Therapist - Anchorage, Alaska Bilingual Therapies - 2.9 Anchorage, AK Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Caseload management Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Speech therapy Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to serve the 2026-2027 school year in Anchorage, AK. This role is based onsite and requires working directly in school settings with no virtual opportunities. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 47 students, typically across two elementary school sites. The position demands a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, structured as 8.5 hours daily with a half-hour unpaid lunch break.
Qualifications:
Current Alaska certification and licensure as an SLP or SLPA Experience working in school-based speech-language pathology settings Ability to manage caseloads involving diverse student populations Strong communication and teamwork skills
