1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and 2+ years of medical setting experience for a critical access hospital in a scenic coastal Alaska location. Details Critical access hospital (CAH) setting supporting both acute and long-term care Primarily inpatient acute care with potential support in long-term care Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations Uses TruBridge - Evident EMR for charting Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am-4:30pm with some flexibility 8-hour day shifts 13-week assignment length Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist required Prior experience in a medical setting preferred Current BLS certification (AHA) required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) via ASHA required Active Alaska SLP license required in hand at time of consideration License required if applicable Additional Information Located in Homer, Alaska on the scenic Kachemak Bay Housing provided at no cost, or candidates may opt for a housing per diem to arrange their own accommodations First-time travelers may be considered for this position
