Job Description

About Us:
Playful Learning Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist for our Palmer location. This is an established caseload looking for a dynamic therapist interested in working with children birth to 18 years old in an outpatient clinic setting are encouraged to apply. Collaborative approach to intervention with speech, occupational and physical therapy all offered at this location. If interested in working independently with a flexible schedule please contact us. This specific position is split between our Palmer and Eagle River locations.
Responsibilities :
Screen and evaluate children with language difficulties or delayed development. Provide speech and language services in accordance with the patient's POC. Participate as part of the multi-disciplinary team in reviewing qualifications of patients with speech and language needs or delayed development working with our physical and occupational therapists.
Requirements :
Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university or college program. Has been granted a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Licensed by the State of Alaska or be eligible for Alaska licensure. Preferred two to five years experience working with children with special needs, developmental delay or disability.

Pay:
DOE $60-65 per hour for speech language pathologist, higher depending on benefit needs.
